Education
- In 1999, he graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Bogomolets Ukrainian State Medical University. He completed a full course in the specialty: “General Medicine”.
- From 1999 to 2001, he studied in clinical residency at the Department of Faculty Surgery No. 1 of the Bogomolets National Medical University.
- From January 01, 2002 to 2005 he studied in graduate school at the Department of Faculty Surgery No. 1 of the Bogomolets National Medical University.
- He completed a PhD thesis on “Comparative assessment of the quality of life of patients with colon and rectal cancer operated on by traditional (open) and laparoscopic methods”, which he successfully defended on September 15, 2005 at the University’s Specialized Council. This dissertation was approved by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and he is currently writing his doctoral dissertation “Emergency Laparoscopic Surgery”, thesis advisor is Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Professor V.V. Skiba.
Scientific activity
- He is the author of 102 scientific papers, including 31 international publications. He received 7 patents of Ukraine.
- Chairman of the international conference in the United Arab Emirates in 2015 and Chairman of the international conference in Austria in 2016-2022.
- Currently, the scientific direction is the development of laparoscopic methods of surgical interventions for various surgical diseases.
