Education

  • He graduated from the Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute in 1980 with a degree in General Medicine;
  • Since 1980, he has been working at the Department of Microsurgery and Plastic Surgery of the Shalimov National Institute of Chemical Technology, specializing in vascular surgery; in 1987 he defended his PhD thesis “Auto-alloneuroplasty of peripheral nerve defects of the extremities”;
  • In 1996. He completed a series of works on microsurgery in the field of neuroplasty and received the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology;
  • In 1999, he defended his doctoral dissertation “Autotransplantation of complex tissue complexes to close defects in functionally important areas of the limbs”;
  • Since 2007, he has been a professor at the Department of Combustiology and Plastic Surgery, head of the cycle “Plastic Surgery of the Breast”;
  • In 2014. was awarded the title of professor.

Professional development

  • He underwent a cycle of technical tests at all sites of plastic surgery on the basis of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L.     ;
  • In 1996. did an internship in Greece (Athens), master class, Professor M. Lejour;
  • In 1997, 1999, 2000, 2002. In 2009, he completed an internship in France (Paris), in the clinic of Professor D. Marchac in all areas of plastic surgery;
