Testicular cancer
To establish the presence and find out what type of testicular cancer it is, a thorough diagnosis is required. A timely visit to a urologist at the DIEVO Surgical Solutions Center and an accurate diagnosis give you a high chance of a complete recovery or stable remission.
Testicular cancer is a malignant tumor that affects the male reproductive glands. The main danger of this type of cancer is its rapid progression. The risk group includes mainly men aged 35-40 years, but there are cases when this type of cancer affects at an earlier age.
Causes and symptoms of testicular cancer
There are a number of factors that significantly increase the risk of various types of testicular cancer:
- men suffered from cryptorchidism (non-descended testicle) in childhood,
- in case of injuries,
- suffered from viral orchitis,
- prolonged use of estrogen contributes to the development,
- heredity.

There are the following stages of testicular cancer in men
- Stage I – the tumor is located within the scrotum. There is no metastasis to the lymph nodes and other organs;
- Stage II – metastases in the retroperitoneal lymph nodes are already appearing;
- Stage III – at this stage, the tumor spreads beyond the testicle. Metastases are detected not only in the lymph nodes, but also in distant organs (lungs, kidneys, etc.).
Testicular cancer in men is a rapidly progressive disease, so it requires timely diagnosis. It is recommended to undergo an examination by a urologist at least once or twice a year, even in the absence of alarming symptoms. The earlier the disease is detected, the easier it will be to treat.
A consultation with a urologist is necessary if:
- there is a lump in the scrotum;
- the testicle has significantly increased in size;
- the texture of the testicle has changed (it has become soft or hard);
- there is heaviness and pain in the testicle;
- pain in the lower abdomen;
- urinary disorders are noted;
- loss of tactile sensitivity in the testicle.
Diagnosis and treatment

The modern equipment that our clinic is equipped with allows us to detect oncology, including testicular cancer, at early stages.
