Master class: “Challenging tasks in endourology” in Chernivtsi
As part of the planned activities, a master class on the topic was held on April 20, 2023 at the Medgarden Medical Center in Chernivtsi:
“DIFFICULT TASKS IN ENDOUROLOGY”, organized by the DiEvO Center together with the multidisciplinary medical center “MEDGARDEN” and the official partner “Ukrainian Society of Endourologists” (USE).
On the first day of the master class, we welcomed all the participants who came from the neighboring regions of our country and wished everyone that the knowledge they had gained would make a significant contribution to modern medicine. After getting acquainted, we had a small photo session in an informal setting and proceeded to the main part of the master class.
The first to greet the participants was Vitaliy Maksymiuk, MD, head of the Medgarden Center. Med. D., professor of the Department of Surgery No. 1 at the Bukovinian State Medical University, general surgeon of the highest certification category, chairman of the Bukovinian branch of the Ukrainian Association of Metabolic Medicine, member of the Bukovinian Association of Surgeons.
The master class was held in the format of a live discussion, when during the surgery itself, the participants were able to discuss topical issues with surgeons and draw conclusions immediately.
The surgeries were also performed as planned in the “live surgery” format:
- Mini-percutaneous (mini – PCNL).
- Transurethral treatment of large prostatic hyperplasia.
