On the other side of the front…. there is a “second” – medical

The specialists of the Surgical Solutions Center continue to provide comprehensive surgical care to the population and our defenders!

Today, our society is facing a new challenge – the recovery of our brave defenders from the injuries and maims caused by the war. We understand that our colleagues who are close to the guys at the front provide all the necessary primary care, but there are also complex subsequent stages of treatment that are already being carried out in specialized hospitals.

Last week, our colleagues, reconstructive plastic surgeons Professor Serhiy Galych and Associate Professor Oleksiy Dabizh, performed a series of complex surgical operations aimed at restoring the appearance of the heroes and preserving the function of their organs.

The nature of modern combat trauma is horrific and in some cases leaves no chance of recovery and leads to disfigurement.

Based on their own proprietary methods, the specialists performed several reconstructive surgeries. As a result, the limbs were preserved and facial tissues were restored.

This is the contribution of surgeons who are ready to put all their skills and abilities to work for our common victory, closing the “second front” to all the horrors of this war.

It is worth noting that for such surgeries, the wounded are often taken to hospitals abroad for treatment.

However, there are our doctors who perform difficult tasks and find effective solutions to complex problems.

The work of the doctors was recognized by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine at the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Western Region.
